TRANS-SIBERIAN RAILWAY

One man’s escape is another man’s imprisonment in his own mind. Watch Henry Rollins account for his own personal journey on the Trans Siberian Railroad in this 4-part series.
Roark’s adventure wouldn’t be complete without an escape. The most brutally wonderful train ride on the globe in the dead of winter was the most acceptable fate en route to “freedom.” Transsibirskaya Magistral is a network of railways connecting Moscow with the Russian Far East built in the late 1800’s. With a length of 5,772 miles, it is the longest railway line in the world. Idle hands beware – the week long journey isn’t for the faint of heart, as the ever-lovely Henry Rollins describes above.
With so much time to stare at the intricacy and detail of the train through every rattle, we were inspired by a vintage seat cushion pattern found in a passenger car. It’s jacquarded in our “Trans-Siberian” Knit and is available in 2 colors
